BLOODLINE

It was impossible, Shepard repeated for what might have been the hundredth time, the thought like a mantra as he gripped the rail, then released, then tightened his hand around it again. An impossible climb. And yet. And yet. He squinted out toward the small forms of the Tullian scouts perched at the ridge—those few of his men who remained, who hadn’t yet fallen to the massive arrows thrust skyward from the valley below.

"A plague, even, of dark cloaks and carts and beasts and roaring fires—for which there seemed no cure."

The scout craned over the edge turned back, signaling the Gar as being a mere fifty feet distant. Vertically distant. Shepard startled as suddenly the man jerked backward, as another of the Gar arrows caught him high in the chest, raising him off his feet. He crumpled over it, pitching slowly forward, and disappeared over the edge.

All those born to the Tullian royal family bear the ancient blood of the East. Who will be risen into it, however—and to which creature they are bound—is unknown. Whether Clawborn, or Waterborn, or Manyborn—or those risen into much darker instincts still, all are bound for life. None are given a choice.

The story of a king forced to defend his castle against an unstoppable army, come forty years too late. Come in vengeance for a crime of the heart, to take back the unique inheritance carried down through three generations since.

Of a princess, the king's young daughter, soon to discover the nature of her own blood, even as her grandfather's enemies seek to destroy all those descended to its line.

The first book in a series spanning four generations of the tribal kingdom of Tullia, Bloodline will captivate your imagination and thrill your senses. Perfect for fans of Patrick Rothfuss and Sarah J. Maas, Jeff Wheeler and Terry Brooks.
